Printed Prototypes

Using market-leading tools and machinery, our team can create printed mock-ups that are indistinguishable from those created in a final print run.

Investing in the same presses and equipment you would find within a full printing production site, Proof+ can create printed labels, cartons, pouches, packs, cans, bottles, and much more to an unrivalled quality and standard.

We can offer the following print techniques

Prototyping Services

Digital printing – Best for printing on non-textured or gloss materials, with a quick yet high-quality turnover.

Litho printing – Best for printing on a wide range of materials & for printing with varnishes and metallic inks.

This process all begins with a chat about your brand and the product you would like to bring to life. Never used a packaging prototype service before? No problem at all! Our helpful team will guide you through every stage of the process, asking the right questions to ensure we have all the information we need prior to getting started.

Let’s chat!

A typical brief will include the following questions:

  • What material would you like us to use? If you’re unsure this is no problem, we can help and advise you according to your needs
  • Have you got a printing partner lined up? This just means we can work with any print limitations they might have. Don’t have a printing partner yet? No problem, we can put you in touch with one of our colleagues at Reflex one of the biggest packaging and label printers in the UK
  • What embellishments would you like? This could include finishes such as hot and cold foils, varnishes, embossing or debossing. We have a full range of options for you to choose from
  • How many prototypes would you like? Our minimum order quantity is just one!

If you’re an established brand looking to test out a new packaging, or you’re switching to a new environmentally friendly packaging material and would like to know what your brand colours will look like – we can help here too!

colour gaurdian proof +Working closely with you at every stage of the process, we become an extension of your team. Your branding assets and designs are as important to us as they are to you and we work hard to ensure these are protected – setting colour and print standards as we go using our unique Colour Guardian software.

Being able to show your printing partner a physical sample of your label or pack that you have fully signed-off, will reduce the risk of nasty surprises further down the line.
